Scotland's Housing Expo - The Flower House

I was commissioned by a+j burridge architects to create images for competing for a plot at Scotland's Housing Expo.  The design consists of a simple house form, clad by timber board arranged decoratively in a "flower" pattern.  I used a combination of computer modelling, rendering and montage to create the images for the competition and subsequent marketing.

Having won the competition, the project is nearing completion.  Happily, the almost-finished product looks very close to the renderings, once weathering is taken into account.  Having undergone several changes throughout the design process, my various versions of images have been used on the BBC, and other architecture-related websites for marketing purposes.
